In Loving Memory of Indi Gregory
It is with heavy hearts and deep respect that we dedicate this page to the beautiful and brave life of Indi Gregory, and to the strength and love of her father, Dean Gregory, mother, Claire Staniforth, and sister, Vienna Gregory.
A Precious Life
Indi was born on 24 February 2023 and, despite being only eight months old, touched the lives of so many with her courage and presence. She lived under the weight of a rare and incurable mitochondrial disease—a condition where the body’s “power stations” (mitochondria) cannot reliably produce the energy cells need.
Although her time with us was heartbreakingly short, her existence brought love, hope and devotion in abundance—she was a daughter, a sister, a cherished little person who was wholly and completely adored.
A Family’s Unwavering Love
From the beginning, Claire and Dean stood steadfastly by Indi’s side—nurturing, protecting, advocating. They faced immense medical and legal challenges, all in the determination to give their daughter every possible chance. Vienna, as sister, carried love and connection through this journey too—sharing in the laughter, the quiet moments, and the extraordinary strength this family displayed.
This is also a tribute to the profound love exhibited by a mother and father who did not give up. It is a testament to the resilience of a family who held on through uncertain and painful days, who sought hope and comfort in the presence of their daughter.
A Legacy of Love and Remembrance
Though Indi’s journey ended on 13 November 2023, the memory of her sweet presence endures. Her life reminds us that even the smallest souls can imprint the deepest marks of love. She remains a part of her family always—held in father and mother’s hearts, sister’s memories, and the wider community of those touched by her story.
Our Commitment
- Keeping the memory of her life alive with love and respect
- Recognising the remarkable bravery and dedication of Dean, Claire, and Vienna
- Reflecting the importance of supporting families facing rare and life‑limiting conditions
Thank You
To all who have shown compassion, supported this family, or simply held space for them—you matter. Thank you for honouring Indi’s life by remembering it with kindness and reverence.
In memory of Indi—and in tribute to her family’s unwavering love and hope—this page stands as a quiet place of remembrance, reflection, and respect.
